First Post!

Hi friends!

First, I am SO excited, and relieved ... maybe?, to finally be starting this whole thing. I've always had the idea of having a place where I can share all my thoughts and a place to keep them. But not like a diary or a journal, because I wanted to share them with anyone who cares, haha!

If you're reading this and you don't know me that well, just know that I am generally a pretty bubbly, comedic, loud character. This blog isn't something formal where I am going to freak out about typos (although I will try to keep them to a minimum) or worry about coming off a certain way, so my personality is probably going to show through. What you're reading is me, which is just the way I like it. Pretending to be something different is too much energy for me anyways, and ain't nobody got time fo that.

Anyways, I have a lot of different and varying interests, so I set up this site (WIX is aMaZiNg btw) to organize everything into different categories.

The first one, which matters to me the most in life, is faith. I really think this is going to help spur on my walk with God having a place where I can splurge my thoughts and other people can read or ask questions or talk about something that maybe I haven't thought of! I can guarantee that my pastor and home church will be a big inspo for me in this category! :-)

The next categories aren't in order of how much I love them, because I just do. The Disney category will definitely include anything and everything from movies to books, but mainly, I AM PUMPED to go this fall with my husband! So I'll be posting maybe any ideas, tricks, or outfit plans I have there.

I. love. plants. They are slowly, but surely, taking over my house. I am really looking forward to my papa helping me start my own harvest garden this spring and my super handy hubby building me some raised garden beds. Hopefully that still happens with all me PA school stuff.

Of course, one of the categories will be physician assistant studies. I'm not going to go into too much detail there, but I think it would be fun to share my story, helpful thoughts on how to get in, and encouragement for anyone applying.

Another category I have just for kicks and giggles is DIY/crafting. I have high hopes for myself in DIYs, but Imma be honest, I suck at it haha! I can do easy stuff, but it always seems like the things I make are just a little too bleh for my taste. But I love to try, hence the category!

The last one is just for random thoughts on life. I love to share about my family especially. My husband is freaking amazing. He has more talent in his pinky toe than I have in my whole body lol. It just amazes me how much he can do! Building things, drawing, singing (no one else knows, shh :) ), sports, you name it. There's not much I can say about my dog other than he is chasing his tail as I write this lol. He is like a small panda/teddy bear. My parents are the two people in this world that I look up to the most, but not literally because my mom is like 4'11". My dad is really outgoing and funny, especially when he gets in his joking/grumpy mood, it's a blast. My mom is the happiest person I have ever met, but boy she can be feisty. I guess I would say I'm a pretty mix of the two of them. My brother has been my A1 since Day 1. We are truly best friends. Unlike normal siblings, we never fight. We have the same sense of humor and an incredibly deep appreciation for each other. He is the one person who can make me laugh at my lowest of lows. So in this category, you can expect to see a lot about them and my amazing friends!
